April 2022: Royal Visit & Showcase of ESA BIC Noordwijk Startups

We organised, hosted and facilitated several events throughout the year to support our community. One of the highlights was the visit of King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima in April. Four ESA BIC startups had the opportunity to present themselves to the royal delegation, including Mapture.ai (pictured). August 2022: Airbus Netherlands Joins as Technical Partner

SBIC Noordwijk now has eight technical partners. In August, Airbus Defence and Space Netherlands was added to its technical partner network, whereby ESA BIC Noordwijk startups can avail of technical expertise and collaborative opportunities. September 2022: ESA Commercial Gateway Network Event

We are proud to have contributed to the organisation of the first edition of the Space Week to be held in the Netherlands in September. As part of this, the first ESA Commercial Gateway Network Event took place at Space Expo in Noordwijk, bringing together ESA BIC startups from all 26 ESA BICs, plus the ESA Commercialisation Gateway and investors, to inspire, support and connect. November 2022: Expansion of SBIC Team
