XXXV Planetary Congress of the Associaton of Space Explorers

The visit of over one hundred astronauts to the Netherlands from September 30 to October 6, 2024 during the XXXV Planetary Congress of the Associaton of Space Explorers marks a historic event in our country. Astronauts apply their perspective from space on our Earth to tell our society about the importance of exploration, international cooperation, the indispensable role of space travel in our daily existence and to promote better management of our home planet. With their Dutch partners, they would like to enthuse the Dutch public, politicians and young people about space exploration, science, technology and innovation around the theme “Generation Space, Shaping our Future Together.

Enclosed is a letter from André Kuipers, host of the congress. In addition, an overview of the week’s program including all activities as well as one of four sponsorship packages with the invitation to be involved as a partner on a budget-friendly level. A number of SpaceNed members are being approached individually asking if there is interest in playing a larger role as a partner of the congress and educational activities related to it.

The general presentation can be downloaded here.
