In 2023, the global space community will convene in Baku at the International Astronautical Congress once again, exactly 50 years after Baku hosted the 24th edition of the IAC and became the first and the only city in the region to do so. This, certainly, is a major occasion in the history of the space industry development in Azerbaijan, as it is one of the core priorities of our vision as a country aspiring to foster the formation of regional space ecosystem and strengthen its position as an emerging space nation.
NSO and SpaceNed will team up to create a NL Space presence at the IAC 2023 in BAKU. With the financial support of NSO several activities will be planned to promote the Dutch Space Sector from 2-6 Okt 2023.
NL Space booth: The 21m2 booth can be used as a basecamp; to invite business relations, give presentations, organize a contract signing ceremony or to have a drink.
NSO Presence: NSO will be present and represented at directors level.
Network Event: Together with the Dutch embassy in BAKU, we will organize a Network Event, for which the Dutch attendees will be invited and offer them the opportunity to invite business relations.
Marketing: To promote the Dutch Space Sector, we want to create a one pager booklet, in which we offer each company, also when you do not travel to Baku, the opportunity to create a page with company information. This booklet will be used as a digital and hard copy document before and during the IAC.
