A lot is currently happening at Lens R&D

Retroactively, in June, the company has changed from  a private company to a B.V. as per 1st of January 2022.

We have strengthened our bonds with ISISpace and are now a regular supplier to them as they use our MAUS Sunsensor on most of their satellites (anything 3U or larger).

A mutual publication on albedo errors during the Utah Smallsat was well received.

We participated in trade missions to Washington and Bangalore anticipating further business expansion

Multiple recurring customers and a number of new customers have led to an unprecedented growth of the turnover.

This in turn triggered a major upgrade of our facilities and upscaling of the production volumes for both the MAUS and BiSon Sunsensors.

In frame of this the major changes are:

  • the quality control station has seen a major update with a new digital microscope,
  • two extra flow benches have been added
  • the office has seen a full redecoration and re-organisation
  • an additional semi-clean workspace is being created on top of the cleanroom.
